Our Story
I'm Maya Hoogwater — founder of Desert Bin Co. I started this business at 21 with a simple belief: if you're going to do something, do it with pride. I'm a young Cuban woman from Tucson, and I built this from the ground up with my own hands and my own vision.
I saw a real gap in our community. Bins that go uncleaned week after week, quietly collecting bacteria and odors nobody wants to deal with. I knew I could solve that — and do it in a way that's professional, professional, and genuinely good for the neighborhoods I grew up in.
